• Reposado tequila produced in El Medineño, Jalisco, by Familia Landeros (NOM 1599) • Maestro Tequilero René Carranza • 100% Azul aka Blue Weber (Agave tequilana) • Cooked over 24 hours using an autoclave • Crushed using a small roller mill • Natural fermentation using ambient yeast, 6–8 days in open-air stainless steel vats • Distilled twice using stainless steel pot stills • Aged 3 months in medium-char, ex-bourbon barrels • Delicate and generous, with distinct notes of dried apricot and pineapple, vanilla bean, cinnamon, clove, subtle piment, orange peel, and roasted sweet potato • Verified additive free by Tequila Matchmaker • 40% ABV While we often instinctively reach for the blanco among agave spirits to more purely evaluate the raw production and terroir, there are some particularly joyful exceptions. This lightly aged reposado is a bit of magic—a sleight of hand that marries tropical fruit and baking spice as effectively as any tiki cocktail and manages to taste of both oak and terroir harmoniously, leaving us at once pleasantly satisfied and merrily wanting more.
